The Omnicoat™ OC series PVD coating machines can be applied for coating substrates including:

l        Metallic materials: various pure metals, alloys, stainless steel, galvanized materials

l        Non-metallic materials: glass, ceramics. (need upgrade package of magnetron sputtering)

l        Organic materials: Nylon, plastics. (need upgrade package of magnetron sputtering)

Various coating materials can be applied including:

l        Pure metals: Gold, Platinum, Silver, Chromium, Nickel, Copper, Aluminum, Molybdenum.

l        Non metals: Silicon, Graphite.

l        TiN: hardness 2300~2500HV, friction factor 0.65, gold.

l        ZrN: hardness 2000~2500HV, friction factor 0.55, pale gold.

l        CrN/CrC: hardness 2000~2300HV, friction factor 0.5.

l        TiCN: hardness 3000~3500HV, friction factor 0.5, grey black.

l        TiAlN: hardness 2400~2600HV, friction factor 0.68, bronze purple black.

l        Other composite coatings or multi-layer coatings.
